I saw these adorable Valentine treats here and just had to make them for Sean and Tashena! They are so cute and so easy to make!
They are made out of banana moon pies! Where I come from these little treats are called moon pies but people in these neck of the woods call them marshmallow pies. Either way grab a few boxes!
Insert a craft stick into the pies and then use a tube of ready made vanilla frosting to attach Valentine sprinkles for feathers, two Necco wafers and two Valentine M&Ms for eyes, and a Valentine candy corn for the nose.
Package them up and give to the people you love! If you are really crafty you can create a cute little tag that says, "Owl Be Your Valentine!"
These would be a really fun treat for kids to make for their friends. Give them a try!
Note: I tried several different stores looking for Necco wafers but I ultimately found some in a gas station. I knew that a gas station would have them because my Dad always gets them for a treat when we stop for gas on road trips!
These are darling! Great job!
