Specimen art is very popular and I have wanted to make some for a while. When I saw this Valentine specimen art here I was excited because I have a heart punch which meant that I could make it.
I used a Ribba shadow box frame from Ikea (the original had a white frame but I picked black to go with my decor). I traced the back of the frame (I discarded the mat that came with the frame) on some red cardstock and cut it out. I used a heart punch to cut 25 hearts out of some red patterned paper. I used glue dots to affix the hearts to the cardstock in five rows of five. I lifted the edges of the hearts to give them a bit of dimension and then placed the cardstock in the frame.
This was an easy project and I really like how it turned out. Give it a try!

That's really cute, great job. Perfect valentine decor
